02 Civic Spring/Shock Install

Ok, here is the straight information on installation
on my 2002 Civic:
Installed Eibach Sportline Springs and Koni Yellow
shocks/struts today. Passion Motorsports. Columbus, OH
Passion got me in in 2 days.
Sportline Springs have reduced height by exactly
1 1/4 inches on each wheel.
Adjusted all 4 wheels within Honda specs without
a camber kit. 5hours installation time for a
quality installation. Ride is better than stock with these springs/shocks.

Yup thats about where mine measured at first. I think its a little bit lower now that they've settled. Interesting that they were able to adjust your camber with no kits, especially the rear. Might be better to go back after a couple of weeks and see if the camber has changed. I can tell that mine did in the rear so I bought me a SPC kit that I need to install.

Cost was $65.00 per hour. 5 hrs installation,
1 hr alignment.

just installed sportline as well last week, but it seems to be more than 1.5'' of a drop. i dont even have 2 fingers gap between the tire and the fender (only about 1.5 finger gap). so i was wondering if urs as low as mine??and btw i have a 2003 civic (dont know if theres any difference between the 2k2 and 2k3)

so you really mean to tell me that with springs and shocks your ride is BETTER than stock???? Is that possible?

Yes, ride is better than stock with the Koni shocks.

you got your car aligned RIGHT after the spring install? didnt even wait for it to settle?

the guy who started this post. reason i ask is, it takes about 3 days for the bushings to settle. within these 3 days its possible and very likely your car will sit a little lower then the day you got them installed. your car sits lower and your car is effected.

I didn't have any problem, but I put on Prokit and even after settling it wasn't that much. Dunno about with Sportlines though.

hey vnlilman is there a difference of diameter of the wheels between 18'' and 15'' rims??

After 2 weeks, the springs on my civic
have not settled any more from the
original drop. Personally, I would not
think they would.

that would depend on the profile and section witdth of the tires you put on those rims.
