Hey,

Just wondering if anyone noticed that the new swaybar is only 1.6mm larger thatn the stock one, yet weighs DOUBLE?!? Just my opinion, but to me, that is unacceptable. Is there a LIGHTER aftermarket swaybar out there? I certainly don't want to add 15+lbs. to my HX, just to get mediaocre gains in cornering ability.

accually you will be adding about 8 pounds which wont be noticable, and second of all just be cause it is 1.6 mm bigger does mean it is a little bigger, but the progress bar is solid and the stock bar is hallow and flexable, trust me, you can't go wrong with this set up... it is the best so far, better than neuspeeds bars.... well not the x-brace, because progress doesn't make a x-brace, but there are suppost to be better x-braces out there, the only problem is, if i want to get one i would have to speak japanese... and get it imported = very expensive

It cost me $147 shipped from PTuning.com, but that price is figured out from buying the front/rear/mounting kit all at once from them.

I just installed the bar front bar on my EX and it doesnt fit properly. It bangs against the cat... this sucks. plus I couldnt get the bar centered and I don't know if its working properly. I think I have to take my car into a shop to get my exhaust bent a little so it clears. any one else try installing the progress front bar on a EX?

DAM. I was thinking about installing one of these myself, until i read your post, but i got a sedan EX, do you think there is a difference? The tornactive site lists the 61.0102 as fitting the ex sedan.

Progress Front Sways DO NOT fit the ex models...

The cat for the EX is lower than on t he other models...

I have the same problem...

try getting a hotchkis... That's what I'll be ordering soon!

Hey there... I have had the exact same problem... if you compare both of the sway bars... progress and stock you will notice the stock is off centered to make way for the cat...

The cat on the EX's are far lower than the other models... Progress only tested the sways on the LX's...

dont waste money on bending a pipe... call progress and return it to them and get a hotckis... MUCH better bar...

****in' progress... It's stuff like this that makes a company unreliable...

Be carefull with 61.0102. It will only fit 2001 civics. Tornactive lists is as 01-03, but it's not. 61.0106 is for 03 civics and will be out next month. I found this out the hard way. Tornactive is sending me a suspension techniques front bar.
