just wondering.. why prokit? its only like a 1" drop and you could hardly tell your cars even lowered.. IMO its just a waste of money to drop it with those springs.. maybe you should get sportlines, its about 1.6", you dont have to worry too much about scraping yet its still kind of low enough to tell your cars dropped. and i'm not sure what place online sells them cheap but this one shop near me sells them for 180. best price i've seen anywhere... i'm sure you could find it for 200 or even 190 tho if you call around.
and also have you looked into other springs such as neuspeed or goldlines? they are much cheaper(140 shipped) then eibachs but the ride quality is just as good as eibachs.

Well, heres my dilema. I plan on getting 17" rims, I dont want to lower my car so that I need a chamber kit and after a couple months I dont want my shock and struts to blow and spend $500 for konis and the other $100 for rear camber kits. So why not lower my car an inch and keep factory shock and struts, I wont need a chamber kit, and keep factory ride. But I have a question do I need a chamber kit with Sportlines or a 1.5" drop???? Thanks

with any drop a camber kit is recommended, most people will say it should be fine without one with anything smaller then a 2" drop. one reason why i got my neuspeed sports... i'm not exactly sure how much longer the tires will last with a camber kit compared to without one tho. i plan on getting 18s and the tires for them aren't cheap so i still plan on getting a camber kit when i get my rims...

as for the shocks, i've heard of people blowing their shocks in like a week with the prokit. and some even go for a couple years with sportlines. reason is even tho it is only a 1" drop it is still stiffer then what the stock shocks are used to... alot of it has to do with luck, the way you drive, road conditions. as for quality i'm sure the prokits will have a fairly good quality but sportlines or neuspeed sports aren't all that badd either... i dont really want to say oh go with this, go with that cause later you may not like it and blame me so yes this is just a suggestion. one thing you might want to do is search, PM, e-mail and find out what people thought about the springs they got.
i didn't really look into it before i got my springs but heard good things about neuspeed sports... i got them n didn't like them, i mean the ride and everything was fine, but the drop just wasn't low enough for me. wish i would have gone with neuspeed race(2.25"/2.0" drop) and yes i've heard people riding on stock shocks for months with those as well. its just a matter of luck.

oh and i'm thinking your going to have a shop install it? good luck finding a place cause i know i had a tough time... one place didn't even know how to do it so i wasted 3 hours watching them play with my car. other places wanted to rape me and charge $120 or even $300. but after calling and calling finally found a place that did it for $70 but the service wasn't all that great. when he got to the last spring, he decided to goto lunch so i waited an extra 30 mins or so when he should have finished the job. it would have only taken like 10-15 mins too.. i have yet to find a place that has a decent price, does good work and has great service
