What is the best way to lower your car (opinios)

Hello,

anyone got any recommendations on what brand of springs or coil overs I should get?
how about a camber kit?

I was thinking about coilovers with the springs in them .. (??)

i didn't get flamed when i was a n00b, so i'm not gonna flame you.

however, there is a LOT of information about springs already posted.

there's Eibach, which is most often more expensive than any other brand of springs - you're paying for the name, but I've never seen a single bad thing said about them, they also come with a 10-year (essentially lifetime) warranty. sportlines - 1.75/1.5 front/rear drop. prokit - 1.5/1.2

gold line, which I personally have never heard of until I joined this forum, but many people swear by them, and they're comparatively lower priced. 1.75/1.5 too, I believe

neuspeed, another well-known company, again, quality springs - not sure about the sports, but the race springs are 2.25/2.0 - definitely one heck of a drop and I wouldn't recommend it unless there are very good roads where you live, or if you're a VERY careful driver.

h&r, I personally don't know much about their springs, but they have a good reputation.

ground control coilovers, they come with eibach springs I think - a lot of people here have them.

skunk2 coilovers - reputedly the stiffest coilovers out, but good quality.

this is very far from a complete list, and somewhat accurate, at best. feel free to SEARCH!

I believe anything that drops more than an eibach prokit warrants a camber kit, and shocks also. with the crap roads here in houston, my stock shocks will probably blow because of my pro-kit within a year. so far all I've heard about are koni yellows, but they come with a lifetime warranty.
