Yeah, after about 1.5 or 2 inches of drop, you're gonna need a camber kit no matter what size rim you have. You can contact
Lightning Motorsports to see what kind of deal they can get you on a camber kit. I got mine (front and back) for $120, and it's easy to install yourself. I think our cars look pretty good with 1.5" drop springs and 18s. If you went that way, you probably wouldn't need a camber kit. And there's still a bit of a gap, but it's nothing compared to stock.
BTW, shocks and struts are the same thing.......and will not make a difference in ride height or camber angle. What they will do is take away that bouncy ride you get from blown struts.
