What is the best way to...?

I currently have ground-control coilovers and my car is experiencing a lot of bounce in the rear. Everytime I go over bumps or just drive I get a lot of bounce. I am considering getting some Koni's, hoping that they will reduce the bounce. What should I do to reduce as much bounce as possible?

Get the Koni's....And you'll be able to stiffen up the back to keep those rear tires on the ground...Stiffer rear shocks is the difference between the 2001 and 2002 models...Check out TORNACTIVE, they are the one stop site for us 7thgencivics........If its not listed Rob can still get it give him a call.......... Remember to buy for the special adapter($20?) needed for the GroundControl+Koni Combo........

Yep, get the Konis. You can turn them suckers up so tight the car will be virtually solid. I have my fronts on 50% stiff and the rears on soft. I don't normally have any weight in the back. If you have big stereo speakers you might need the rear a little stiffer.

thanx fellas....Tekniq did you purchase your Koni's at Tornactive.com? Personally, I don't feel to secure purchasing Koni's online, but I might just do that.

Yes I did....I got a lot of other stuff there also.....Like I said they are the 1-stop-shop for us......If your worried about doing a transaction online, then just give them a call.....Rob always likes hearing from us 7thgen members..... REMEMBER TO ASK ABOUT THAT ADAPTER THING FOR THE GROUND CONTROLS....

I have a question for you guys i don't want coilovers for my car I want to get the pro kit 1.4" drop should i also get shocks or will the stock ones not blow out. If they do blow out at about how many miles after do they blow out. I usually just ride around an empty car except for about 100 pounds of sterio equip in the trunk.

I've heard of people with Pro Kits keeping their OE shocks ok for a year or more. You just don't get all the handling advantages you could with the Konis.

I think BAK has just the ProKit springs and stock shocks.

Yeah BigDaddy, it all depends on your driving habits......I got away with my Progress Spring(2'' all the way around) with stock shocks for over a year....but I've herd of people blowing them out just after a few weeks on a 1'' drop......
