H&R & Koni

Has anyone lowered their car with H&R sport springs first and then added Koni yellow shocks on afterwards? If so, did your car drop even more after putting on the shocks? Reason I ask... Currently, I have on 17" Kosei rims on and lowered the car with only H&R sport springs. The clearance is perfect right now but the ride is too bouncy. Thinking of adding the shocks on the reduce the bounce. I worry that the car will drop some more and then I'd be rubbing the body. Can anyone advise?

how come it raise the car higher? i thought the yellow are adjustable?
and i would recommend ppl who planning to get shocks to wait for the Tokico to come out. cuz ppl told me the koni yellow is just an insert and the design was almost identical to our stock crappy struts/shocks.

The Koni's R just inserts for the front, but for them being crappy is completely false. They are tons better than the stock ones.. You're able to adjust them and they have a LIFETIME WARRANTY, which is something the stock ones could never do......

I'll be waiting to see what happens with your car. What kind of rims and tires are you using?

I jes got sum H&Rs put on today...the car looks like a champ! I think I am going to wait and try to het the Tokico Illumina adjustable shocks, they be hardcore, as far as Koni Yellows go, they're phat as hell too, but I'd rather wait on Tokico for a few more months. And you're right the ride sucks on OEM dampers and the springs, theyre just way too firm, but the ajustable Konis or Tokicos set to the softest damping possible will cure all that. And give you sum man cornering powaz when you need too, the dampers will not lower your car, but your car will sag probably another .25 inches in the next year, which is pretty good considering most other springs sag like crazy, H&R is got a good reputation for being a bad ass spring.
