Can Anyone Recommend Me Some Shocks?

I'm getting my Neuspeed Sports put in this Sunday, and I know that my stock shox will go soon after. Anyway, I've searched and everybody is talking about Koni Yellows and Koni Reds. I dont know about the price of the Koni Reds, but the Yellows are expensive. Then I just saw somebody say that the KYB shox are cheap. Basically what I'm saying is that I want the most inexpensive but worthy aftermarket shox that'll last with my Neuspeed Sports. Any suggestions? Thanx... To my knowledge the konis are the only shocks available at the current time. Tokicos will be out soon and should be a direct replacement for the stocks ones. The konis require the destruction of your rear shocks so you would have to buy new ones to return it to stock. Plus, I just don't feel like the civic is worth putting a $550 set of shocks on. Maybe if you autox or something but for daily driving, no way.

Konis R the only thing out 4 our cars r ight now. Ther's also a member thats sells his own custom ones that R full coilovers too. I think his name is strut wizard. Personally I wouldn't take a chance on his made at home ones..Grab the Koni's with the LIFETIME WARRANTY..It'll be worth it in the long run....

Mbow: so are you saying that I would only need to buy front shocks if any? Since its the front of the car that hits the bumps the most anyway.
I guess my only choice is Konis, I would think that KYB or something like that brand would have them for our cars, I guess not...

If you have lowered the car, you need all 4. I meant that the konis require the destruction of the rear shocks, the front bolt in. This means that if you decide to return the car to stock, you would have to buy a set of rear shocks or leave the rear konis in place. Although, you could just replace the front shocks but you would be left with blown rear shocks on a lowered car. I would wait for the tokicos if I were you. You can remove the front and rear shocks and put them in closet and put the tokicos in their place without any modification. I have had tokicos on an accord in the past and they are awesome. Tokico also gives a lifetime warrenty on their shocks/struts as long as the car isn't sitting in the weeds.

Mbow, its the other way around... The rears bolt in and the front shocks have to be gutted to fit the new shock inserts.....
