hmm seems like i'm gonna have to go with the coilovers but i keep hearing how u gotta modify the factory perches
like cut them and stuff......and that would mean i guess i can't put the factory springs back onto the car??

VNlilMAN: go to this LINK and look at part #12. It is a rubber washer with a lip that cups up. I cut off the lip with shears and ground the residual down flat with the washer and mounted it between part #13 and #9. Worked for me. No impact on ride quality that I can tell. The width is a bit less than 1/4" and the part cost around $6.00.

damn familyman, thats gangsta(in other words, i'm impressed on how you solved it)...

sumama, go with neuspeed. i have neuspeed sports, its not low enough(about 2 finger gap on all sides) but it rides nice and dont have to worry too much about scraping... i would go with race but i heard the ride quality wasnt as great.
