Can you identify which bushing is creaking?

I'm having a hard time isolating the bushing with the following information:
2001 civic front driver side sound, 66000miles
In motion - creaks over bumps at low speed
In motion - seldom clunks over bumps at higher speed
No sounds when braking hard
Steering is fine
While parked - it does not make any sounds when pushing on the front end L + R
While parked - it does not make any sounds when turning the wheel L + R 100%
Generally quiet when wet. Noises more noticeable in warm weather.

Any ideas?
Thanks

my guess would be a lower control arm bushing. It's the big one towards the front of the car. My passenger side does the same thing. One seems to clunk when I'm turning right and going over a speed bump or pothole.

But if I'm under the car I can grab the LCA and move it up and down and under closer examination you can see it's torn.

Find a condition you hear the creak (In motion - creaks over bumps at low speed) and make sure you can duplicate it. Now take some silicon spray like WD40 or some other form of spray that has the small red extension tube. Now spray each moving flex joint, one at a time. Start at the bottom lower control arm. Probably the sleeve one and not the spoke wagon-wheel one if it it one of those. Now the torque rod. Then the upper shock mount (good candidate) However, could even be an engine mount or the sub frame. If you spray everything with water, does it go away? At 66K, I would think nothing is worn out but the rubber is 14 years old and hard dry and stiff. 14 car years is like 90 human years...you will be squealing and groaning and rumbling and a lot of other things then like me probably? HA If you do isolate it and it appears OK, I would not worry about it. However, I would find it. You do not want the wheel falling off.

Go to this site and put your car in and bring up the fish for your front shock and the knuckle to see the joints...http://www.collegehillshondaparts.com/

Re: Can you identify which bushing is creaking?

With the drivers side wheel turned, I was able to move the LCA with a heavy screwdriver, prying it up and down fairly easily. This also produced the creaking sound!

When you look at the wagon-wheel bushing, it's obvious when it's torn. The other one is not so apparent. However, they are rubber and will flex. So not sure how big and how hard you are pushing. Her is a similar bushing in my Civic motor mount, The other side was sitting down on the hard stop and it groaned and you could fill vibration at idle in the car.
