all you guys that have sedans and have their cars lowered: does your wheel ever hit your wheel well and make a loud thump like whenever you hit a dip or some kind of bump or something?! cuz i see lots og coupes that have their car slammed, and not many people seem to complain about having their wheels hittin the wheel well. i just got my racing harts put on today and i have a 1 finger gap in the back so sometimes it makes a loud thump when i hit. my friends 2nd gen integ is slammed with no gap but he never has this problem
i'm trying to drop my sedan too but damn i can't find a spring that would work good on it ......maybe it's your bumpstops bottoming out .......i hear how if you take out your rubber stoppers that problem can happen...
if you take out the bump stops there is no protection against blowing your strut that little rubber is all you have to keep you fro spending a fortune for new ones
You don't have the right offset. There is so much space on these cars unless you have 20 and drop your car like 4 inches you won't rub unless the offset is incorrect.
ya its probably your bumpstop... and no its not the only thing protecting your shock from blowing... you could have full bumpstops and your shocks could still blow... that is why you just cut it, not take it out... less chance of blowing the shock and less chance of bottoming out..
i think sportlines on a 4 door would make the rear sag, thats why i recommend neuspeed for 4 doors.. look at pics listed in the 'suspension faq' up above.. n yes the size tires you have makes a big difference...
