Which Type of Springs

I was wondering if any of you guys would recommend Eibach Prokit lowering springs for a 2001 Honda Civic Ex coupe? Right now I have Skunk 2 Lowering Springs and I hate them they dropped my car way to much and the rubbing against the wheel well drives me crazy! Anyways I was thinking about putting back on the stock springs or should I just get some Eibach Springs. What do you guys recommend ? Re: Which Type of Springs

This topic is beat to death. I just bought H&R springs for my 2003 coupe. Currently have maxspeed lowering springs fitted with Tokico HP. I've been super happy with the Maxspeed springs but they are shot now. I had them since 30k miles and now have 118k and I bought them for $100 back in 2002. I was going to go with Eibach but I found a great deal on the H&R, so I'd say get the Eibach or Tein or w/e mild drop you want and call it a day. IMO lowering springs that go below 1.75" will be too low and give you a harsh ride. Good luck.

There is no such thing as a harsh ride if you upgrade your shocks. I don't understand the idea of buying blues, only for them to blow, then buy them again....those people need to save up and get some dspecs!

Almost forgot to get back to the noob. Eibach ProKit for a 1" drop sounds right for you. Or Tein H/S Techs.

No not me....i've read about people with springs/coilovers sleeves that have had their blues not last too long. some people don't understand that blues are an oem replacement and go around slamming or dropping their vics lower than what the shock can handle which = blown struts/shocks, crappy ride, upset guy who bought'em..

blues can only handle a mild drop, up to 1.5"

they are originally made to be an OE replacement.

yeah, you friggin nube....quit asking stupid questions like that....jk

its so much easier to just answer the question at hand than to pass judgement on someone for asking a simple question isnt it?
