1. Buy lower control arms for 80 dollars each (Canadian) that include the bushing and ball joint from a friend at work. (Brand new, he gets shop rate)
2. Order ES bushings and never worry about it again. It will be more work for me to install ES bushings than to just slap new control arms on.
I don't really NEED new bushings yet at 85K miles, but he can get me the arms for cheap so I was just wondering on what I should do, hold off for ES or buy the new arms.

My bushings were going at 55k and I replaced them with the ES as well. I would recomend them over the other option however be ready for some noise because they are squeaky squeaky.
Remove control arms, press old ones out, press new ones in, reinstall control arms.
If you know how to turn a wrench the hardest part is pressing in/out the bushings. You can take it to a shop- machine shop probably, or do it yourself. I cant find the thread where a guy made his own press. He basically has two pieces of wood and four bolts through the corners with wing nuts on the end. He'd twist each one a quarter of a turn repeatedly alternating between the four corners and press it out/in. You obviously need to have a little chunk of something to press against the bushings that will push it out and a place for the old bushings to go when removing it. Get it? Kinda hard to explain.
