Goldline Springs- what I found out.

What up, bros.

I am a new comer to the scene and to this forum. (I was a minitrucker for 5 years before I bought my Civic). As a new comer, I've had a lot of questions. When I came across this forum, many were answered. The first mod I made to my car was to put some 17's on it. (Enkei RP08's w/ Fualken 205/40') Now it's time to lower the stance. I did a lot of research in this forum, to see what was good. And it has not been an easy decision. Everybody here has an opinion on springs. Some who bought one type, didn't like them, then bought some more. That sucks, I know. I know what it's like to make mods and not get the results you were exspecting. Others in here, stick to certain brands for various reasons, which is cool.

I did some research and thought I would pass it on. I went to every manufacturer website that I was considering. Neuspeed, Eibach, and Goldline. Now, for me, I'm going for the sport look. Plus, I'm on a budget. I was impressed most by Goldline. (www.goldlineonline.com). Their website told you which cars with which springs they recommended camber correction kits for. They also had installation tips. They give recommendations on how much to trim your bumber stops, to allow more shock travel. And... life time warranty and guarntee no "sag".

I should be ordering them within the next week. Be looking for my next post when I ask you guys how to install them.

How much are they costing you? Are you getting a camber kit as well?

$139 plus shipping = about $160. I'm getting them from www.thecivicstore.com. The camber kit was not recommended for my application. Just an alignment.

I ordered a set of gold lines for $90 shipped. NICE. But I think its 1.5 for coups. Yeah, the web site said no camber kit neccessary, and so did the shop that is going to put them in...but an inch and a half is enough for me to be concerend. Let me know how they come out, and get back on here to discuss how the camber and things worked out for you. PLZ.

Just took my time and waited and got a good deal on ebay from someone called blueroom121@cs.com, they own a store that I guess shut down or something, but anyways they have some over stock that they need to get rid of. This is current info as of today...might want to shoot an e-mail thier way quickly.

I have the Goldlines installed on my car. the drop is larger than they say, more like 2" in the rear, i have no wheel gap, and a tiny bit of tuck, in the front, i can get about one finger in the wheel gap, and, yes, i reccomend a camber kit

Okay guys, I found out after getting a personal e-mail from the CEO of goldline springs that they have been looking for this blueroom guy because he owes them thousands of dollars. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS E BAY SELLER. He may be a thief. The Goldline company is so nice, I gave them an address and because I helped them out they offered to send me a new set of springs for free! But since I already ordered the springs and may still get them...(we'll see)..I told them not to worry about it. So he CALLED me and is sending me a camber kit for my car instead. Just for helping them out. GOLDLINE is an awesome company. The founders and engineers at Goldline used to work for Eibach and other quality aftermarket auto-parts companys. Now they are turning out new quality products and offer an unmatched warrenty! GOLDLINE! GOLDLINE! GOLDLINE! So whatever you do do not order from this Blueroom seller, It's been weeks and I still have not recieved my springs and besides, they are proably stolen if they even have any.
