Well I looked at both options a few years ago. Full coilover setups are built to match...spring matches strut...they are made to work together. I have the B+G's and they ride awesome! They are self adjusting dampeners so that really helps. They stiffen up when you toss it around & soften up on the street. You also have limitless height adjustment & they really do make the civic feel like a different car.
Only drawl back is replacement. I have 60k on my coilovers & they are blown. I can buy new which is not cheap or have them rebuilt for 4-500 bucks.
If I had to do it all over again I would do Koni yellows w/ Ground control coilovers....You have the ability to replace parts independantly, height control, you can have the koni's matched to the GC's, & this combo works very well. Alot of the scca guys run these.
Coilovers handle awesome, cost alot, ride decent, & suck to replace
Strut/spring CAN handle awesome, cost is close to the fulls, ride decent to good, & can be replaced as needed
There's your two sides...choose wisely
