Progress Sway Bars And Tanabe X Brace

OK Now Here is what I was thinking in order to stiffen up my chassis..

1) Progress REar Sway Bar w/Tiebar

2) Progress Front Sway Bar

3) Tanabe X Brace

4) Ingalls Front and Rear Camber Kit

What do you guys think ? Any Suggestions? I already have TEIN basic Coilovers.

Upgraded endlinks are a good measure.

yeah, i agree. I kept the stock endlinks....bad idea. the part where you put the alan wrench in was so rusted it was hard to take it off.

save yourself the trouble and go with aftermarket endlinks.

Well i just have done making my custom tie bar with the rsx sway.I need to
find longer bolt before i can put it on.I was also looking through the end
links sind wen you stiffen it that are the point that get stressed alot.
I think grey's and hotchkis endlinks look good except the hotchkis cost twice.

found something site for parts if ya wanne make them yourself

Sway bars will help with cornering alot more than the X-brace. You will want to invest in Hotchkis endlinks, because I've heard Grey's have a tendency to rust like OEM. The Tanabe X-brace is rather small, but it is the only one I have seen for the D-series subframe. With a X-brace up front you may experience understeer while you are getting used to it because you cannot adjust damper stiffness, so don't get discouraged. With this brace you will most definately want to beef up the rear of chasis to prevent excesive understeer (i.e. rear strut tower brace, mid-bar, c/b-pillar bars). I don't believe the tie-bar in the rear will be enough to offset the X-brace....but goodluck!

Do they make b pillar bars for our cars????? Or do you have to get them custom made??? thanks

And to the original poster and everyone asking about the endlinks, you definately need them. I put on the progress sway bar, and it snapped the driver endlink the first night out. The oem will not hold up. Forwarning the progress will hit aftermarket exhausts and make a horrible rattling noise. I even beat my tanabe in with a hammer and it still rattles. I made a whole thread about the rattling noise a little while back.
