lowering my civic

hey guys, I have a 2001 civic si, and I am planning to lower my car in the coming summer with a tein basic full coilover. I was thinking of lower the front by 1.5 and the rear by 1.75. the reason there is a difference between the front and rear is cuz the rear is higher up than the front with the stock suspension. Is this a good idea? do u guys have any suggestions on how much I should lower my car by?

Thanks

jttegx has a spectacular aura about jttegx has a spectacular aura about
search. their is a suspension faq AND a offical drop pics thread at the top.

as for the rear sitting higher stock, if i guessed, it would prob be because of aero dynamic reasons and the weight being on the front of the vehicle due to the engine.

You will have to replace shocks in the future anyways.
Why not do it at the first time?
