frame brace inside car?

i've seen some cars that have a frame brace like a strut bar inside the car behind the seats. Do those actually work and do they make them for our cars ? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

there's universal ones out there, and yes, they are worthless for any sort of performance. you do get the nifty "bling" "bling" factor from those who dont know better though.

"I know Solo only comes one minute at a time, but what an intense, non-stop, fast-forward car control exercise minute it is. Sure, the velocity is higher in road racing, but inside the car it is slow-motion in comparison. In Solo, the turns come like machine-gun rounds. "

the universal ones are trash and do nothing. rs akimoto made a lower monkey (floor) bar that was one piece, but they stopped making it. if you want a floor bar, you're gonna have to fab it.

They are worthless on Coupes... But I don't think so on HBs...

so just the front upper strut bar and rear upper strut bars are the only ones worth buying. Is there anything other components that would help stiffen the car frame ?

Worth getting:
Front upper strut
Underbrace (ie cross brace/u brace/x brace)

Rear strut is pretty must worthless.
