Same type of problem, why would you create a new thread. If I'm not mistaken everyone jumps on everyone else for creating new threads instead of searching. Leave the guy alone.

i had the same loud banging problems too.....i replaced the lower control arm bushings......the front ones were broke and the back were ok but i replaced anyway...

what would be the point of closing this thread???? if someone like me can add something usefull then it needs to be alive

i previously had this problem when putting my 03 back to stock, it came down to the spring not being seated and turning right. when you look at the spring and have someone turn the wheel the spring would turn and then kick back to where it sits causing a popping/clanking noise.

just a thought to what it might be...
