new coilovers gives poor driving performance.. need advice

I need some advice on a set of after market coilovers I had installed on my Honda. Basically, its makes a very bumpy ride on the road and extremely difficult to manage my steering when I hit even small bumps. What should I do so I get better driving stability. Also, my brother cut the stock springs initially, and I had to replace them with coilovers. Are there other parts I need to install? The Likely culprit to your problems are probably the Shocks rather then the springs. and considering your brother cut the original springs, the shocks on the car now are probably blown... Pick up some Tokico HPs and you should be fine.

"I know Solo only comes one minute at a time, but what an intense, non-stop, fast-forward car control exercise minute it is. Sure, the velocity is higher in road racing, but inside the car it is slow-motion in comparison. In Solo, the turns come like machine-gun rounds. "

Read the suspension FAQ and Suspension Tuning 101 in my sig.

You have shitty sleeved coils on stock shocks that are probably blown. Dumb idea. Next time research before you buy parts for your suspension, or any part for that matter. Replacing cut stock springs with sleeved coils wouldn't help a damn thing. Get new shocks. Before you ask what ones, there is a thread above stating what is available and the pros and cons.
