Why do aggressive springs destroy OEM shocks. Do aggressive springs redude travel? So doesn't less travel mean that the shocks don't have to work as much?

rebound... they make the shocks work much harder than they have to to "keep" the car from bouncing around. - and since they cant sometmes they bottom out also.
So shocks with high rebound, will react better when you hit bumps. they will compress and decompress better with irregularaties in the terrain. But if the shocks have less reistance when you hit bumps how come you get less body roll with high performance shocks?
Need some professional opinons here....i have skunk 2 lowering springs 2.50 front/2.25 rear. i have stock shocks/struts...(have not blown.....yet) im thinking of getting the Tockico HP shock struts. My question is if you guys think im making the right move by getting the tokicos or should i be getting another brand because of the height of my car?...
I need to get shocks bad I have skunk2 drop springs and my rear shocks have been blown out for about 2 months now. There is nothing more embarrasing than hopping around like an idiot while riding next to some hotties. I'll def have to get the konis. Thanks for the info guys
clarification needed from the gurus... I know the two mounting holes need to be drilled, but what about where the tie rod mounts? I've heard that it does and doesn't. Can someone give a definitive answer?

It shouldn't. The tie rods should be the same size for all years. The things that differed between the years is
1) 03+ has 16mm mount holes
2) some cars need 55mm konis, some need 50.
Other than that they should be the same. If you install RSX coils, the tie rod hole will be too large for the tie rod bolt, hence you need RSX endlinks.
Maybe someone else can confirm.

I did a search and it seems as if the EP3 struts will fit the EM2 knuckles. Are all EP3 lower mounting hole diameters 16mm? Also, will the upper mounts for an EP3 fit the EM2? Thanks.

The upper mounts will fit. As far as I know, anything EP3 will fit because they are probably going to be designed for the 03-04. After 04 Honda changed som estuff. Why do you want EP3 struts? Are they oem struts? If so, they are not going to be much better than your current shocks.

I can't get Tokico HPs very easily in Canada. Someone is offering me KYB GR-2s. I wanted to lower my car on neuspeed sportlines, will the KYBs be able to handle the drop? And are they of similar quality as the Tokicos?
