well ive been hearing good things about the hayames (sp) for 625 they sound like a deal. (theres a thread going on em) 0"-4" drop, tokico shocks, billet construction, comes with upper mounts, camber adjustablity for the front, etc.....
in the 1200 range you have the kw's, teins, etc... most of them seem to be around 2.5 drop, give or take.
from my personal experiance, sets that have a "helper" spring (2ndary spring) usually have a better ride quality. such as kw's, foacls,,... etc
i havent accually found them for sale but i have heard ALOT of good stuff about focal's.....

Please read the FAQ in my signature. There is NO BEST of anything. YOU, yes YOU, have to decide what you want to do with your car, research the products and then buy what you want. If you want opinions there are plenty on the site if you search. A list of most coilovers are in the FAQ.

To be honest springs are springs...... You need to find what spring rate is best fo your driving style. I used a set of 8kg from and 6kg in the back... Im pretty agressive mountain driver though.

Tokicos makes good street shocks (Even their web site says they design their shocks for the street), but if you're going racing you've gotta run Koni.
Trashguy, I assume that 8KG front and 6KG back is for your 510?? cause on a FWD car that would give you some horrible Understeer....
Grassroots motorsports was running their 03 Si with 550 LB/IN front and 900 LB/in Rear (Need that oversteer!) Handled great, but they decided 900 LB/in springs were much too stiff for the street, so they switched to 425 Front and 550 Rear. doesen't handle as well but at least your fillings dont rattle out.
