Never heard of them, Looking at their site they list, Azenis Sport, FK-451, Azenis ST-115, Ziex ultra low profile, Ziex 60 and 65 series, Ziex 512, Sincera SN-706 and Azenis RS-01D Rally tire. No listing for a Beta. But looking them up, it lists them as FK-451's UTQG of 280 AA A. Interesting, they should be pretty sticky, the Azenis Sports are rated at 200 A A and they are amazing on the track.

I'd say go for it, as long as the price is reasonable.

The FK451 are otherwise known as the Beta.... they're alright, but they're very heavy tires. I've heard they wear very fast.

oh i c.
i currently have the falken ziex as well.
i thought about the Azenis sport, but heard they are not very good for daily driving, its got a rough ride and lots of road noise.

what kind of tires do u guys suggest?
im looking for something with long tread wear and at the same time gives good traction for a reasonable price.

High tread wear and good traction dont ushually go together. the softer the rubber, the better traction and the quicker it will wear out.

Azenis sprots are softer then the Fk-451s so the will wear out much faster.

How long is long to you for tread wear? 15000? 35000?

Look at the UTQG rateing of the tires you are interested in , it will tell you 3 things Tread wear, Wet straight line braking traction and temp.

Azenis are 200 A A
FK-451 are 280 AA A
Ziex 512's are 360 A A (I have a set of these for street use and I am very satisfied).

The only problem with UTQG rateings, is that you can't compaire them between brands (Thank you US regulators). What is a 200 tread wear for one company could be 140 for another.

"I know Solo only comes one minute at a time, but what an intense, non-stop, fast-forward car control exercise minute it is. Sure, the velocity is higher in road racing, but inside the car it is slow-motion in comparison. In Solo, the turns come like machine-gun rounds. "
