Opinions on "TSW Sting" wheel

This wheel in a 16" size with 205/50/16 tires. (same size tires as stock Preludes) To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Those are almost the same style rims that I have. They look good. Nothing to flashy...classic. Why don't you want 17's?

Do they make those in 4X100 bolt patterns now? I always thought they were 5-lug only, I could be wrong though.

Discount Tire Direct has them in 4x100. The 16" size is $143 & I never bothered to price tires since I already have a set of 205/50/16 tires. They also have free shipping, so to me it's a good deal. I have had a few sets of 17" wheels & with a 40 or 45 sidewall I feel like the ride is too rough so I wanted to drop to a 16" wheel so I could get a bigger sidewall on the tires & make it a bit more comfortable. I have no plans to change the stock suspension so this is my best shot at getting bigger than stock wheels & still having a somewhat comfortable ride. That's what I was going for with this style, I wanted something that is a 50/50 mix between aftermarket & a somewhat factory look. Something basic.

Does anyone know if Konig makes or made a wheel that is identical to that TSW wheel? I saw a hatchback Civic 1 day that had 16" wheels on it that looked identical to those wheels but they had Konig centercaps. I have no clue if they were Konig wheels or if the dude just put Konig centercaps on the wheels. Just curious.

Yeah Konig does make one that looks similar, it's the C7 series model 187. It comes in 14x6, 15x6.5, 16x7, and 17x7. The spokes look a little bit narrower though.

Very nice design. I wouldn't go less than 17" though.

I think they would look good--go for it!

My every day wheels are 16's (Niche Shocking Shocks for 666, my fellow Niche user ) and it is nice that potholes are just a mild concern instead of a reason to panic
