Im new to the whole wheel/tire suspension deal, as I have been working on performance. I have a couple questions that I hope can get some answers:
I have been told that by looking at my car, 18's will fit with having nothing else done? Is this possible, and will there be no scraping?
Also, how awkward will it look with a stock suspension? Will my car look like a friggin 4x4 without being lowered?
And finally, when I do get it dropped, will I then have to worry about scraping?
Oh yeah, one last question, wheel and tire packages seem to go up in price as the last two sets of numbers increase in size? I always thought the smaller the tires, the higher the price? Am I wrong?
Sorry for all the questions in one thread, hope someone can knock em all down.

First off.... search... most of these have been answered in detail already.
Here's the short version. There will be no interference putting 18's on with the stock suspension provided you get the correct width and offset, it will look like a 4x4 so either lower it first, or do both at the same time. Scraping will depend on how far you drop it. The last 2 numbers??? What do you mean? The aspect ratio and the size of the rim? The larger the tire the more it costs. So the package price goes up.
Oh, one more thing... if you're working on performance, you shouldn't be getting 18's. They're too big if you've got plans to go fast. 16's or 17's at the most.
I didin't think I was going to drop my car when I bought my 18's. Shiiiiiittttt. It doesn't look nice without a drop. Even though I'm not into slammin my car and all that I went ahead and threw some neuspeed sports on it and it looks alot better. Like the man said 215/35/18 is the way to go........

q]
well for example:
215/35/18
225/40/18
245/35/18
th last to numbers are sidewall with and wheel height, so 18' tires are more expensive than 17', and the second numbre is sidewall height, so it depends on what type of tire you get the price may vary
