Speedo and odo reprogramming

I know this topic was posted a while back but i couldnt find the thread. I have smaller wheels than stock ex 215/40/17. Did anyone ever figure out if their was a way and how to do it. Its gonna suck to run up my mileage but it might trick me in to thinking im going fast lol.

I believe my honda dealer can do it because they are running 18" 215/35 on there car they are selling so that would throw off their mileage and they wouldn't want that.

Or u can just buy 215/45/17 like I have on my ride I lose a little mileage which is fine

eh, its really not worth it.. the most its going to be off is what 3%. 3% aint shit..
for every 100k miles you'll be reading 103k... 3k miles isnt a big deal. n when your going 65, you'll actually be doin about 67... not too big of a deal..
my friend just lifted his truck and got 35" tires.. compare what his stock 25"(roughly about that big) to his new 35" tires... thats a 10" difference.. n we think a .5" difference is a big deal... i personally wouldnt worry about it, its not worth the time and money. i'm sure the people at the honda dealer didnt adjust the speedo/odometer either
