I'm a fan of 17 but if your car is only for show go w/ 18's. Remeber if your car is a daily driver you face denting or bending your rim the greater the size is when driving on bad roads.

The ride is going to be fairly rough with 17s. If you are worried about ride quality, I wouldn't even think about 18s. You will roll over a dime and feel it.

I originally wanted 18's and I ended up with 17's and I am very
happy with them. I'm actually glad I didn't get 18's, cause the
ride quality would suc.

I just put 17's on my sedan. Go with 215/45/17 tires and you won't lose much ride quality as long as you choose a smooth riding tire. This rules out ultra high peformance tires, but whatever else you choose will still make huge handling improvement.

I was worried on the start of this thread if it would be a mistake getting the 17 's but after hearing if you have 215/45 like I am going to get the ride won't be a whole lot worse I think I will do it.

Thanks,
Nick
