Any recommendations for tires?
I'm picking up my EX 5 sp today, and I need to get rims and tires on it quick. Anyone have any recommendations? I need a tire thats good in the rain. Also, will 215/45/17 fit without any problems? 215/45-R17 is actually the best tire to use, as far as similarity to stock circumference goes. it fits fine. i would suggest the kumho ecsta supra 712, they're very good and one of hte less expensive tire you'll find out there. good in the rain too. many people on this site have them, including me.

went through a set of BFG's in 6,000mi (sports).......
have boughten 2 sets of yokahama parada I's........sold my last car w/ them on......
my car now has them,....excellent handling, great in the rain, and they will last me about 3 time longer than my old BFG's...already have 13,000 mi on them and they're still fine.....

NO, the actual best tire is the205/50/16. The tire calculator is wrong, proxes t1-s is the Beest rain tire. and its mad sticky!

I had 215/45 17s and had some rubbage when I lowered my Sedan. Now I have 205/45 17s and no rubbage. Others haven't had problems. Who knows. I recommend the Yoko Paradas too.

Nitto 450 Extreme's are nice too, friend said they handle well in the rain too. But i say go with the 555. or the new BF Goodrich tire
