I like 18's!!
And if you're like me, (not worried about going fast) then you'll like the 18s.
They won't slow you down too much as long as you watch the weight of the rim.

There was an article in a mag I read,.....from oem stock wheels on a v6 accord switching to 26lb 18's they lost like 3-4 horspower.....out of 200hp or whatever it is.......I have 18's.......I didn't notice a dif. in speed,....a CAI will take care of that.......

But when you pull up to a light and you got grandparents, 40 year old guys, and guys's laddies like ......"wha t size are those? They look killer!!".......then you won't care that you loose 4hp......

I've had 16's for a couple years,......then 17's when they came out........
now my 18's......I would never go any smaller......
peace, trevor

I think you should go with 18's. They look better, and won't slow you up enough to even notice.

yeah- dont forget to consider that 18" wheels will force you to use an ultra low profile tire. nevermind speed loss, how about bent rims! id go 17" with 215-45 tires

Every decision is a compromise of some kind. I would recommend 17s with 215/45s also. That way if you do decide to go fast it is a good compromise and still a very nice ride.

18's look better, but the rims cost a bit more, and the tires cost a lot more. power loss to me really isn't an issue, but I'm still probably going to go for 17 if I get aftermarket rims just because the tires cost less. otherwise I'll get some 6th gen SI alloys, 'cause theyr'e cheap.

I just bought 18"x 7.5" ASA JS5's with Dunlop 215/40/18's for $1294.38 shipped..including....lugs...center caps...center cap tool and centering rings....check them out at www.tirerack.com
And before people start beating up on the Dunlops...that was my personal choice..there are a variety of tires to choose from....the wheels were $179 each...which I thought to be an excellent deal.
