thanks for the link, i feel kinda stupid now for not just googling it. So I cracked one of my rims. Can I buy just one? If I can buy just one and they still make those rims how retarded will it look having one new one and three used ones?
it depends on how big the company is and if they are even still in business. ive never even heard of that brand so i dont know if they will sell only one rim. chances are, if they are old rims, they may not even produce them anymore (all considering the company still exists).
anyway, how big is the crack, how long is the crack, where exactly is it, and can you possibly get a picture? not all cracks mean you need a new rim. there are places that can completely fix them for you if theyre small enough.
When I bought the car the rims came with it. So for the price I think they look fine on the car so I dont appreciate u rippin on them. If you dont got anything nice to say then hold your own buddy. Not all of us have the money to go drop 800 bucks on a new set of rims.
Now the crack is small. I was gonna have the welder at work just weld it but he said he didnt want to in case the weld broke while I was driving or something. Should I just find a welding shop that will weld it?
i agree, dont rip on the rims. even though ive never heard of them doesnt mean anything. they look fine and i can picture them on a car.
anyway...from looking at that picture you just put up, its hard to tell how far along the inside of the rim the crack goes, but just from looking at it i would say its definitely repairable. im not sure about the area you live, but i know where we live there are places that do a rim repair like that for about 60-70$ depending on the size, length, depth and where the crack on the rim is. i would say if you called a local tire shop they would either do it, or they would direct you in the right path of who will.
