hi i wanted to figure out what it would take to take the brembo 4 pots off a jdm type r, and put them on my 2002 lx. because everything else that year is almost direct replacement, would they bolt right on? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Re: type r brake swap

good luck getting type r spindles
dc2 wont work - its from an integra - it matches up to the em1 chassis

the dc5r is a 5 lug, so youll have to convert

just go with discs from an 02 si

how about u say that SPECIFICALLY in your initial post?? then you will receive responses that cater toward your question.

As for the DC5r swap, i think you need custom axles if ur not kswapped...not sure if you can go base 4lug for cheap and then later go dc5 but CRSX would have more info on that.

if your interested: custom axles
