Time for a change

I have had these rims for 3 years now and i'm thinking it's time for a change. My sisters boyfriend has been bugging me to sell my Konig Troubles to him. I'm thinking of downsizing to 16's or mabey even 15's. The car is lowered a little about 2". Looking for something lighter, Konigs weighed 42lbs with the tires. Would smaller rims looks to small.

Re: Time for a change

I think 17' are about the perfect size for our car because the car is so large. but thats just my opinion. 16's should look fine.

sell him that Tach too when you get rid of the rims..

Re: Time for a change

I was thinking of something like this. I like the gunmetal/polished look. I know everyone has slipstreams, but there cheap.

Re: Time for a change

Rota's will be fine as long as you have no intention of tracking the car.

16x7 (or wider) seems to be optimum for handling on this chassis. 17's are a decent choice too, but if you're running "stock bodied" I think it looks a little out of place.

^whats wrong with rotas????

they are perfectly fine for tracking....alot of LOTUS drivers have a spare pair of rotas because they are so light and cheap (in price)

cant go wrong with 13lb rims.... (16")

here are 16" they look way good...not too big or small

I've seen multiple sets crack under "load." If it makes you feel any better, of the three examples I've witnessed, none were slipstreams.

That's more like 2.5", bud. 4" would give you an inch and a quarter of ground clearance.
