Alright so... I need new Rotors, New Brake Pads... And new Rear Drums... WHERE?

So, now when I brake I hear,

eeeeeccchsdlfsdfjklsejorihfewnskfdsfksklfdsjfjsf

def metal on metal... Its at the point were I pull up to a red light and people think im a school bus.

Anyways,

Ive been reading that brembo blanks are great... Im guessing i can go with hawk street pads again?

The main question I have is, where can I get some rear drums? Mine are all dusty and definatley done with. I have 60,000 miles on my car an dnever changed them.

Last but not least brake fluid... How often does that need to be changed? Where do I even change it and whats the best fluid?

Honda is probably the only place to get new drums. Maybe Autozoo has them, but my guess is you'll need to get them from the stealer.

You probably wont need Drums/shoes as this is your 1st brake job, but pull the drums and check.

other wise, for street... Cheep rotors + OEM equivelant pads would be fine (or the Hawk pads you said you were on).

oh, and bleed the brakes. dont worry about flushing it yet. (unless the fluid is about 3 years old)

well

last time we changed the brakes we checked the drums and a shitload of dust came out... it was horrible.

So, when i get my blanks and pads im gonna have some oem drums installed and have everything cleaned out.

Hopefully that will stop some noises too

they may not, but whatever they do use is still bad for you apparently. The Honda manual says in big letters, not to use an air gun to clean out dust, but to use a vaccum to do it because of the inhalation hazard posed.

for obvious reasons, would anyone really want to inhale little particles of metal?
