Anyone here have these BBS type rims?

They are actually made by BBS, licensed to ASA.

thinking either 16 or 17"s to give it a sporty euro-look

Here is the link to tirerack

is the ASA version cheaper? if not, i would get the one with BBS on it. but either way, those rims look hot.

There is only one version, ASA. look at the center cap...

Very affordable and backed with both the BBS and Tirerack.

They're alright... but I myself would buy the BBS RCs. Sure they cost more. The difference is the way they're made. BBS wheels are made with a better process... counterpressure casting. Think if it sort of like reverse forging. They pull a vaccum on the casting mold then suck the molten aluminum in, rather than gravity casting where you just pour into a mold at atmospheric pressure. The difference is less air in the rim, leaving a stronger, more consistent final casting. And if I remember right, RCs are only about 225 for a 16" rim.

I love me some bbs but thats double the price for rims on a civic. I am reluctanct to even part with my stock 04 ex wheels. but yeh, i love bbs too. i just dont think i would go all out on my civic.
