Honda Civic Si and Honda Civic SiR The Honda Civic Sport Package, better known as the Honda Civic Si is a great base vehicle to start a project. Upgraded components on the Honda Civic Si gave this car a advantage from the start. The Honda Civic SiR is the Canadian version for the Si.

Do 02 Si's (US) respond well to mods?

By "well" I mean "better than the DX, LX, and EX." Since we only have about 2 (legal) mods that actually GIVE us hp, I was just curious how the Si's did.

Anyone know?

I hope so since a stock Si is pretty slow for the money

I know the base rsx's respond well to the basic bolt-ons, so I would assume the Si's probably do as well, better than our cars at least.

They take considerably well to bolt ons. Check out this thread on EPHATCH.COM Myself (only engine mod is a catback exhaust) and two other members, hit the dyno yesterday. (the other two guys already have I/H/E). They went from about 137 hp stock (to the wheels), to around 150 hp. My run on the other hand was crap!

since the base rsx responds well to mods then the Si will have the same effect...same engine

rsx has more torque b/c it has a 2 stage intake manifold, whereas the si has the type s single runner intake manifold....less torque more top end.
