Axle Problem

So I have a 1991 civic SI with a b16 Im new in the whole Honda world and to be honest I dont know much about them My axles went out a few days ago and it all started with a ticking noice when I was driving it to make a long story short I went and got new axles yesterday and the first problem that I cam across was I got the wrong axles I guess I need axles from a integra... I went and got the right axles... the passenger side came out easily but the driver side one got f***ed up what ended up happening was that old axled broke in half on the boot part and the other part of the axle was still stuck on the mid shaft when took it off the car and we tryed everything we could think of to take it off our last resort was banging it out with a hammer and a to prybars it came off but at the same time we fucked up the part that holds the bering the mid axle... Does anyone have any idea what im talking about???? I need help and I need it fast... Thanks
