umm, are you talking about the canadian, or american si?? the canadian si is the american ex, which comes in auto. The american si/canadian sir should be manual only. i'm not familiar with the g, but i would assume it still equates to the american si. my original response was based on the fact that you posted in the si/sir forum, so i figured you meant the american si.

LX/DX is the same in canada and US. EX in the States is Canada SI
and Canada SIR is US SI

considering si stands for sport import and they were built mainly on modifying and performance all american si's are manual. why? because when you have an automatic you lose 24% of your hp. with a manual you lose at the very most 7-0%. so get a manual, itll help you in the long run.

on the Canadian website, there is no SIR listed. Looking at the specs of the SI, seems like the same SI as in the states.
