If you live near the coast, most harbors have used motor oil deposit bins... and the best part is that they're free.

i thought any pep boys or kragens takes them. I know i just drop mine off at pep boys, its free. I think its a california law, that if you sell motor oil, you have to dispose it.

Anywhere that sells oil has to take it. most have limits though like 5 gallons at a time so you don't fill up their tank.

Yeah pretty much anywhere that sells oil like above ^^ I go to autozone, kragen, pepboys, wal-mart, goodyears, carquest, etc...
