NHTSA Recall / Complaint Center / TSB

AllData.com TSB Center (Easier)

There 210+ TSBs for the 7th Gen Civic.

Just print it out and take it to the dealer. All TSB's are usually replaced at no cost.

Here are some TSB:

Squeaky Clutch Pedal Fix
Diagnosis and fix for rear main oil seal leak
Fix for window rattle
Front suspension noise
Driver's seat rocks back and forth
Inaccurate fuel gauge

Other quick FAQ's

1. My "Main't Req" (Maintenance Required) light blinks / is constantly on?
Push the trip odometer reset, turn the key until the dash lights all come on (don't start it)
Hold it until the Maint Reqd. Light shuts off.
Turn the key off and take your finger off the button.
(Thank you Boilermaker1)

2. "Engine check light" is on...
a. Reset ECU (Disconnected BLACK terminal of battery for a few minutes, then connect it back. Turn on the car and let it IDLE for 15 minutes. Do not push the gas)
b. Check oxygen sensors / fuel cap
c. Make a new thread and talk about it...
d. Dealership (of course lasttttt option)

3. "Air Bag" light blinks...

It looks like the TSB's in the lists I have are still online. Just paste this into a new browser: http://www.nhtsa.com/TSBScans/sbXXXXXX.pdf and simply replace the XXXXXX part with the corresponding TSB number from the list. I suggest you download them while you can!

Well, not ALL civics have the problems mentioned above.

I have a few, but definetely not 210+

None of the problems look "critical" you know? I'm sure that Ford's list is quadruple the size!

Hey guys,

I am having a problem with the transmission on my 02 LX and its really hard to shift. 2nd gear grinds when its cold. There is a TSB for NHTSA but its for the 2001 and honda claims the 02 is not affected. They say its fine but my roomie has the identical car as mine and shifts and clutch feel is way different. I want to show them this and force some warranty out of them but I cant get access to the alldata TSB, does anyone have a copy of it?
