All I'm saying is that many parts bring the vehicle out of performance spec. This leads to items being utilized outside of their design specifications. My point is that many systems on the vehicle work together, and when one is out of spec, it has an effect on others. Granted like the CV boot situation, the dealer should be willing to fix it. If not, and possible, find another dealer. Many are more than willing to do warranty work because dealerships make a good deal of money off warranty repairs. Would I rule out your entire powertrain because of N2O. Yes. Most definately. I'm kind of being a bastard on this one just to play devil's advocate. Many dealerships are rude and stupid, and don't deserve our business. They (WALKER HONDA in Alexandria, LA) told me the same s hit. I took it to another dealership (BILLY NAVARRE HONDA in Lake Charles, LA) and they fixed it on the spot. How come one dealership has such a hardtime being friendly, while another just does it on the spot? I will NEVER do business with WALKER HONDA anymore. They won't get any penny from me. They are the closest dealership since they are a one hour drive and Lake Charles is an hour and a half. So Honda always makes me get it towed to the closest dealership and they screw everything up. I am definitely going to stay Toyota after I run out of the extended warranty with this car. And the stock Firestones lasted like 15k miles. Got some Falkens to replace them and the car rides so much smoother now.
