gas tank door sticks ??

i dont know why but when i push down on the gas tank release in the drivers side, it
takes about 4-5 times before the gas tank door will open.
any ideas as to what this might be from, or how to fix ??

take a look at it when its open. mine works fine. soemthing may be out of place or making it stick to the latch. or just take it to the dealer if its uner warranty. i can't say much without seeing it.

yeah its under warrenty, i have to take it for a service soon, ill just have them take a look at it then.

haha mine had the same problem...he just repositioned the lil wire that releases the door...but then it got stuck again the day after so i just have to go through the trunk and reposition it myself to get the door to open
