Just means that you are within 2000 of your next service (oil change, lube, etc.)...if ya wanna get rid of it, turn your key to the start position in the ignition, but do not start the car....then hold down the trip odometer button for a few seconds, then start the car. It should go away...they also expalin it to ya in your manual...how many miles on the car?
well, im not sayin youre wriong man but i was told(by the guy at the service desk at my dealer) to hold it down for about 10 seconds, then turn the key to the on position(or start it same thing), and then release the button. but anyway.
Yeah, that is just a reminder that your 10k service is due in 2000 miles. Its easy to reset yourself if you do your own service...our cars are smart like that!
