Alternator pulley?

Hey guys so I just replaced my alternator belt. I have a 2005 Honda Civic. But I noticed when I was spinning the alternator pulley it would like move a little bit left and right. Do they sell these pulleys by themselves to replace or do I have to buy a whole new alternator?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Alternator pulley?

If it was not causing a problem before, it shouldn't cause a problem now.
Unless it chewed the belt up, it's probably not a problem..

If it needed the alt belt....is it also due for the timing belt too?
