How to replace the cruise control light (orange)

I popped open the pocket piece as stated on a other thread. I can't pull out the cruise control piece. I feel like I'm going to break it.

Go to a scrap yard and pull one apart before you buy it.

If it breaks leave it there, if not you have one to work with, without damaging your car.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: How to replace the cruise control light (orange)

There is a tab on top and bottom that lock it into the trim piece. Squeeze the tabs in and the switch will push through the trim panel.

You can see the tabs sticking up that need squeezed here.

After switch is out, you can see two light bulb bases in the side of the switch.
A small screwdriver, quarter turn of the bases releases the bulbs.

My Honda dealer keeps a couple of the bulbs in stock
