cold air from heater

so when I'm driving the heat will burn your hand when your driving but when you come to a stop it's cold like i have the air condition on. i've been having problems with loosing antifreeze but i figured out thats it's coming out from the overflow bottle underneath the cap. so what causes this to happen.

Re: cold air from heater

1) Replace radiator cap with OEM if, not working properly.
2) Check coolant overflow hose and reservoir for blockage: probably not issue since it overflowing but never hurts to check.
3) Pressure test coolant system.. maybe clogged radiator
4) Pray 1, 2 or 3 is the issue otherwise most likely HG as others said.

Want HG breach confirmation do a Block Test and/or Leakdown Test.
