Loss of power and bad gas mileage

I started having problems with my '02 civic and the code I got was MAP sensor.
I put new MAP sensor in and it improved but still got a code that the MAP sensor was reading a high or low voltage. It has no power going up a hill and it is burning gas very inefficiently (like 13mpg). It idles either way high after running for a awhile or really low.
I cleaned the throttle body and replaced the IACV. Again, it improved a little, but still has no power and light came back on.
Any thoughts?
Also, mice had gotten into resonator box and air filter and both had debris. I got new air filter and took resonator box off and shook what I could out, but it doesn't come apart. I haven't replaced resonator box but am considering it.
Thoughts?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

What's the code number?
Have mice chewed the wires for the MAP sensor?

Also, mice had gotten into resonator box and air filter and both had debris.
Did they chew all the way through the air filter?

If you leave the big sealed airbox off and drive it, does it regain full power?

Check if timing belt is off by a tooth?

Re: Loss of power and bad gas mileage

Thanks. After looking at other threads and talking with my mechanic friend, we agree its a timing belt issue. We're going to put new timing belt and water pump. I'll post when it done. And fixed. Knock on wood.
