Rep Power: 0 Head gasket or all gaskets replaced?
Greetings fellow Honda owners. I have a blown head gasket.
I got an estimate for 350 dollars for a new head gasket installed and the head resurfaced.
He said he only does the head gasket.....
Is it necessary to replace the other gaskets when replacing the head gasket?
Can I get away with just replacing the head gasket? That is the one that is bad as I have a small amount of bubbles in my radiator.
No other gaskets leak.

If i just have the head gasket replaced by this guy, are the other gaskets easy enough for me to replace myself, If they do in fact need to be replaced.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, im about a month away from leaving for a 2 week road trip to San Francisco and Chicago and possibly watkins glen.
Thanks guys!

they are not too many other gaskets that need to come off for a head gasket job, i would say exhaust and intake manifold gaskets are mandatory, valve cover is optional,
i would throw a new timing belt on it if you are unsure when it was last changed, other things you should consider while he is in there would be water pump, timing belt tensioner+spring, cam and crank oil seals
