oqjoi is an unknown quantity at this point
release bearing and idle relations.

the throw out (or release) bearing is bad. This i know. the clutch kit is on its way. However when i am idling not in gear, clutch engaged car idles fine, clutch disengaged the throw out bearing isn't making as much noise as is was and the idle drops stalling the car 90% of the time. It's that a normal side effect of a blown release bearing? I'm good with cars but I'm far from an expert, aside from putting too much strain on the engine, what else would cause it to stall? I've searched forums for the pay three hours. In one thread some guy mentions something similar having to do with a vacuum the helps or drives or pumps the slave cylinder. If it's something more than just the throw out bearing I'd like to be able to get the parts in advance. I appreciate any help.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

If the noise goes away when you push the clutch pedal down, it's in the transmission. If it's loud, input shaft bearings are the usual culprit.
(Some slight internal trans noise is typical and average because it's a mechanical box and there are spinning gears and stuff inside it, but loud whines groans or growl noises are not right.)

A throwout bearing noise would get quieter when you take your foot off the clutch pedal.

No, not normal. Can't tell you what's wrong, but it's not normal for it to die.
