Rep Power: 0 oil leakage - head gasket?
Edit from moderators:
your issue have nothing to do with the previous thread you posted. moved to a new thread of your own.
hey everybody
just picked up a 2003 CIVIC 4DR sedan Stick
there is a bit of oil leakage near the head ( to the left side of engine and just going down on half the engine "
but
i have read through some forms and "head gasket symptoms"
"
Blown Head Gasket Symptoms:
Coolant leaking externally from bellow the exhaust manifold.
White smoke from the exhaust pipe.
Overheating engine.
Bubbles in the radiator or coolant overflow tank.
White milky oil.
Significant loss of coolant with no visible leaks
none of the symptoms are visible ,
im unsure guys, HELP please ??
and also if someone can give info regards to spark plugs and spark plug wires ,
which is best to use for tune up ??

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: check engine light
That's not saying it doesn't ALSO have a head gasket problem though.

Post pictures of your oil leak?
Link goes nowhere, I have no idea what you were trying to buy.
Search local parts stores online if you want spark plugs, but search specifically for the CORRECT plugs.
I'd hope most stores can get whatever you want overnight.... If nothing else, get them from a dealership.
The correct plugs should last at least 100,000 miles (160,000km)
My Honda parts catalog shows
DENSO PKJ20CR-M11
I'd also be ok with using
NGK PZFR6F-11

Re: oil leakage - head gasket?
Make sure the shop is OK with you supplying the parts. Some shops will not install parts that you supply. Also, most shops will not provide any warranty on work if they don't do the whole job which includes sourcing the parts.
