Filled resovioir tank instead of radiator

When refilling after a flush....now the resovioir is at the cap. What should I do?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

When refilling after a flush
Fill the radiator to the top, run it and let it burp the air bubbles out, top it off to FULL, install cap. You did this part already, right?

now the resovioir is at the cap.
How did it get this way? Did someone fill it that full, or did the engine do it?

Assuming you or someone overfilled it, not the engine:

What should I do?
Remove excess fluid from the reservoir until it's at the full mark.

OR......Some people would just drive it and let it puke out what it can't hold as it warms up during the drive. It may make a bit of a mess.
